Killing Floor - Game Review |PC|

Hey guys, Today i'm reviewing Killing Floor.
First thing i'd like to throw out there right away is that this is a great co-op game and here's why.

In Killing Floor you start with a pistol and can find ammo, or other items around the map. Also, you have to fight zeds or "Specimens" for various waves, that of which you can customize in quite a few ways. At the end of each round a trader shows up, whom you can buy ammo, armor, or weapons from. At the end of all the rounds, you have to fight the Big Daddy of Killing floor, The Patriarch. This is a big mother****** that has a rocket launcher, a chain gun, and some weird ass tentacle thing that comes out of it's chest. He looks like this -

The Patriarch strikes hard, and when you damage him too much he tries to flee and heal, he can only heal a certain amount of times however.

Moving on, There is 7 Classes for Killing Floor and 6 levels per class.
A Firebug, Commando, Sharpshooter, Support Specialist, Medic, Berserker, and Demolitions.
All of which are better then the other when it comes to using certain weapons, or certain tools.(Welder, Medical Syringe)

The Multi-player is the best part of the game. I mean, this game was made for co-op so go figure. You can have up to 6 players in a single server, though there is some modded servers that support a lot more then that.
There is some minor glitches though such as, in multi-player there is a chance you'll start in 3rd person but usually it fixes it self the next time you die.

Tripwire Interactive sometimes has special events where the zeds skins are completely changed, there is new characters, and new maps. Such as the Sideshow horror event that was recently started. It turned all the zeds into carnies, released a Steampunk character pack, and a new map, Abusement Park.

The SFX are good, but the music gets repetitive after a while, but it's cool at first.

The game utilizes the Unreal Engine, and a Killing Floor version of the UDK is provided on steam if you own the game.

The company who made this game, Tripwire Interactive, Also made another great game "Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45". (Review coming soon...maybe) They are also in development of a sequel for Red Orchestra.
